Building your dreams is hard work. I suggest buying a heavy duty winch. It makes it better.
We continue to slowly build our walls and watch our house come together. We are now in the trickiest section of the house because the walls are not standing on the subfloor but rather on a concrete pony wall that’s about 3ft in the air.
This means we have to do 2 lifts for each wall. The first lift gets the bottom of the wall onto its sill plate 3ft in the air. The second lift gets the wall vertical in place.
These lifts would be tricky with people since you can’t get good pushing force on the wall so we’ve switched to using a combination of our wall Jacks and the new 12,000 pound winch we recently acquired.
