After many long days of digging rock, exploding rock, digging more rock, pick-axing rock, then digging more rock (get enough idea yet)… we’ve finally begun the construction phase on our septic system. We’ve filled our pit with 100 tons of sand and started laying out our infiltrators. 

So far I’m loving this system. It’s super fast to assemble as long as all the prep work is done. 

We also got our tanks in their pit. You’ll notice the larger than needed pit that resulted from exploding our land. Downside is higher cost for more fill material but it super easy to walk around in there!!
